ClearCorrect Treatment Details
Your ClearCorrect treatment will begin with the creation of custom-made teeth aligners. Our dental professionals will start by making an impression of your bite and taking X-rays and photographs of your teeth. All of this information is collected in order to create a 3-D image of your mouth that we will use when planning your treatment. This image will also be used to create your custom aligner trays. You will wear a new set of aligners every two weeks, in order to subtly and gently shift your teeth one bit at a time.
Once you receive your ClearCorrect aligners, we recommend that you wear them consistently, and both day and night (only removing them briefly to brush and floss, clean the aligners and eat) for optimal results. Though each patient’s needs are different, a typical ClearCorrect treatment plan consists of wearing aligners for up to 12 months (and sometimes less).
